Alesis Nitro Pro Electronic Drum Kit | Demo and Overview with Jerrod "J-Rod" Sullivan
Get your Alesis Nitro Pro at Guitar Center: https://www.guitarcenter.com/Alesis/N... The Alesis Nitro Pro comes with a steel rack that ensures supreme stability for mounting (and playing) the responsive mesh pads—a 10" dual-zone snare, three 8" dual-zone toms and 8" kick drum tower (supports single and double pedals). Also included are three 10" rubber cymbals (hi-hat, ride with choke, crash with choke) and 350mm and 500mm, dual-point adjustable cymbal arms. The Nitro Pro drum module lets you try out different feels and styles with 52 BFD kits spanning the sounds of the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s and beyond. More than just a tone source, the module offers Bluetooth audio and an aux input (practice to your favorite songs), 60 play-along tracks, onboard lessons, metronome, sequencer, built-in recorder and USB/MIDI connectivity for recording and more. “When it comes to e-kits, I feel it’s very important to have good sensitivity and response,” says drummer, educator and founder of Got Pocket? apparel Jerrod “J-Rod” Sullivan (Janet Jackson, Jeffrey Osborne, The 4 Korners). “With the Nitro Pro, I can play ghost notes on the snare, and it picks them up and sounds great. I can even feather the kick drum—meaning play super soft and dynamically—when playing jazz styles, and the mesh pad tracks it all. This kit also has great features for practicing. You can work on your timing, accuracy and retention and continually challenge yourself as a drummer.” Follow “J-Rod” at / jrodsullivan Chapters 00:00 - Intro with Jerrod “J-Rod” Sullivan 00:40 - J-Rod on the Benefit of Learning on an Electronic Drum Kit 00:55 - Overview and Features of the Alesis Nitro Pro Electronic Drum Kit 01:50 - Demonstrating the “Tight Pop” Kit Preset on the Alesis Nitro Pro 03:00 - Using the Nitro Pro Drum Module to Customize Kit Presets 04:11 - Demonstrating the “Garage” Kit Preset on the Alesis Nitro Pro 05:38 - Demonstrating the “Jazz Noir” Kit Preset on the Alesis Nitro Pro 07:14 - Exploring the Nitro Pro Drum Module’s Practice Tools 09:18 - A Closer Look at the Alesis Nitro Pro’s I/O’s 09:52 - J-Rod’s Final Thoughts on the Alesis Nitro Pro E-Kit 10:16 - Outro
