Jeremy Corbyn says he mouthed 'stupid people' not 'stupid woman' during Brexit debate

U.K. Labour Party Leader denied claims on Dec. 19, 2018 that he had allegedly mouthed the words "stupid woman" referring to Prime Minister Theresa May earlier in the day, saying he had actually said "stupid people" about those he believed were trying to turn the debate into a "pantomime." Corbyn's alleged remark was captured on camera during Prime Minister's Questions after May slammed the Opposition leader, suggesting he did not have support of his own party. Members inside the House seemed to have heard "stupid woman" causing lawmakers to shout across the floor, but Speaker John Bercow said he didn't hear or see the alleged remark.
