A Fresh Look at the Problem of Evil

The Problem of Evil is one of the oldest atheistic arguments against the existence of God. It's an emotional problem as well as a philosophical problem. I believe there are some good answers to the philosophical problem, but they won't go very far in consoling those who are hurting emotionally. In this video I give my theodicy. It hinges on the free-will defense, with an emphasis on the revelation of God's attributes. One of the main differences between my view and others is that I believe the primary reason for freedom is not just so we can love God, but so that we can comprehend God's love toward us. We are made in God's image so that we are capable of fully understanding Him and knowing Him intimately. In this video I reference the following: Dialogues Concerning Natural Religion by David Hume God's Problem: How the Bible Fails to Answer Our Most Important Question-Why We Suffer, by Bart D.
