Lost Mangroves 100% Walkthrough - Funky Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for Switch (Part 1)

Hello everybody! This walkthrough will show you how to get 100% in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for Switch with Funky Kong. All Funky Kong does is make it easier, and plus he's new in the Switch version of the game. In this video, I show you how to 100% in World One, the Lost Mangroves. In case you are curious, by 100%, I am going by the game's terms, and not by collecting everything. It is possible to achieve 200% by the game's terms, but that is quite difficult and tedious to accomplish. That requires beating every with only one heart (that gets incredibly difficult toward the end), collecting every puzzle piece (without having a guide while you are playing, which I do not, this is very hard to do in fewer than 3 run-throughs of the level), collecting every KONG letter in every level, and every remaining level in the game. For 100%, you just need every KONG letter (they are usually very easy to find and are in the path you would be taking naturally, unlike puzzle pieces), and beating every remaining level (not that difficult with Funky Kong, with Donkey Kong it is easier as long as you have another Kong with you). In this walkthrough, I go by the game's terms of 100%, just to reiterate. One remaining thing to clarify is that when playing with Funky Kong, the level is the exact same. So if you are playing with Donkey Kong, watching a guide with Funky Kong changes nothing. An yes, I realize a zillion other people have already done walkthroughs of the Switch game with Funky Kong, but it is an awesome game so I figured why not. Here's a little bit more about the game & original. The original Wii U version came out in early 2014. It was a fantastic platformer; one of the best ever made, and I'm not exaggerating. The only difference content-wise from the Switch version is that in the Switch version you can play as Funky Kong, in a basically easy-mode. From the one week I have played the Switch version, it seems absolutely fantastic, but not really any different from the Wii U version, except for the fact that you can play this game anywhere you want, which alone could make this game worth it. Funky Mode does literally nothing for me. But the normal game is fantastic, and handheld mode is like a dream. This game is totally worth $60. If you like platformers, get this game (or the Wii U version because it is 1/3 the cost).
