Local governments in Busan are advancing and expanding light festivals to revitalize struggling commercial areas. In Saha-gu, the "2024 Winter Hope Light Festival" expanded to 12 locations, including four new ones like Haridan-gil, with a larger budget. Seomyeon’s light festival launched earlier on October 2, sparking conversation about its timing during warm weather. A new light festival at Minrak Waterfront Park began November 2 to boost the local economy following its designation as a public park.
