Geingob on fishing quota's for Covdi-19 financing
President Hage Geingob says the high level economic panel proposed that the government auction its fishing quotas as a way to test the market. The president says those who have not yet been allocated fishing quotas will soon receive those. He was responding to questions on whether he was aware that the fisheries minister Albert Kawana requested to auction quotas on the international market, Geingob noted that the idea was to see whether Namibia could get a proper price in the market.
