UK cabinet meets to consider Brexit draft agreement
(14 Nov 2018) British Prime Minister Theresa May and her cabinet ministers were gathering in London on Wednesday to discuss a draft divorce deal with the European Union. May will try to persuade her divided Cabinet that they must back the agreement or plunge the UK into political and economic uncertainty. May called a special cabinet meeting after negotiators from Britain and the European Union broke a months-long logjam and reached agreement on divorce terms, including a plan to keep the border between Ireland and Northern Ireland open after Brexit. The meeting is expected to start at 2 p.m. (1400GMT) at 10 Downing Street.
