He asks Pudifoot if this is true, to which Pudifoot replies simply, "yes." The interviewer asks if he has always answered things in a roundabout way, which also gets a simple, "yes." The interviewer questions Pudifoot's legitimacy, but Pudifoot blames it on not being very talkative today, but then proceeds to talk about how he started answering questions this way when he was a boy, which reminds him of small coats for poodles. The interviewer happily points out this roundabout response and Pudifoot apologises. The interviewer explains that is why he was asked onto the show. Offended, Pudifoot says he thought he was on the show because he was appreciated as a human being and then leaves. The interviewer welcomes onto the programme Mr Ohn Ith (Eric Idle), a man who speaks only the ends of words. Ith responds to questions with only the ends of words until he is asked if it is difficult to make himself understood, to which he responds with a complete sentence. He is called out as a fraud, but explains that he can speak the third and fourth sentences normally. The interviewer welcomes onto the show another guest, Mr J Sm (John Cleese), a man who only speaks the beginnings of words. The interviewer then introduces Mr Oh I (Michael Palin), who only speaks the middles of words. He introduces the three to each other and they say "good evening" together.
