Three shot dead at Jewish community centre in Kansas City

The shootings occurred on Sunday afternoon, when two men were shot in a car park outside the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Kansas City, where one died at the scene and the other died later in hospital. The offender then drove to a retirement home and fatally shot a woman. Police have said there are currently three confirmed fatalities and a 14-year-old boy who suffered a gunshot wound, is in a critical condition in hospital. Police added that they did not have a motive for the shootings, but were not ruling out the possibility that it could be a hate crime. A man in his 70s has been taken into custody at a nearby school.
