My Go-To Pizza Dough Recipe 🍕

Don’t be afraid! You can make your own pizza dough! I PROMISE!!! This is my go-to pizza dough recipe. Bread Flour: 700g (5.6 cups) Cold Water: 460g (2 cups) Salt: 18g (1 TBSP) Instant Yeast: 2g (0.66 TSP) Olive Oil: 10g (1 TBSP) Sugar: 7g (OPTIONAL: only use if you want to bake your pizza today) First, dissolve the salt into the water. Next, mix in your flour and yeast. Cover the bowl and let it rest for 20 minutes. Add half of your oil, schmear it into the dough, then start folding it into the dough. Repeat with the rest of your oil once the first half has incorporated. You’ll be done mixing when the dough is smooth and springy when you poke it. Cover it and rest for another 20 minutes. Cut it into 4 even pieces about 290g each. Take the smooth side towards you and fold the sides back. Turn and repeat until you see a smooth surface, then pinch the seam shut.
