How to Make Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls - Rice Paper Recommendations Included
It is so fun, easy, and affordable to make your own spring rolls. Prepping doesn’t take much time, so I let my family members pick their favorite ingredients and assemble their own rolls. Vegetables go down super easily and it is relatively a light meal, so it is perfect for a snack, a late dinner, or a quick lunch :) There is a separate video for the peanut sauce called “ Peanut Sauce of Doom” which is THE BEST, so check it out! Ingredients: it is very flexible. The following is what I used in this video. Rice paper - The Three Ladies brand is the best (clean tasting, stretchy, and affordable) Protein of your choice -Shrimp: fry or boil shrimps and slice in half lengthwise -Chicken breast: pan fry with a pinch of salt, ground black pepper, and a dash of sake or white wine. Shred them once cooked. Fresh vegetables -Romaine lettuce (cut in half -short way) -Persian cucumbers (thinly slice) -Green/red peppers (thinly slice) -Avocados (thinly slice the flesh) -Green onions (cut in ½ - 2 inch length) -Cilantro (we added some in the sauce, but add more in spring rolls if you like)
