Original Xbox No Power: Easy fix plus repasting

I went to play a game one evening. I had the dreaded no power. I unplugged the Xbox and the cord and moved it over to my bench. Thankfully it wasn't a big deal that caused the no power situation. But while it's on my bench, I decided to do some preventative maintenance. So come along as I find out why I didn't have power, how to fix one of the possible causes of no power (especially on early Xboxes) and repasting the CPU and GPU.
