Christ’s Crucifixion is Still the Glory of God 📖 Scripture Reading: Luke 9:28-36 Most of us have never stood 15,000 feet atop a mountain, but we’ve all had “mountain-top experiences”—those moments when we feel on top of the world, blessed beyond measure. Perhaps it was a graduation, a wedding, the birth of a child, or simply a cherished moment with a loved one. These experiences, however, are fleeting. Life on this temporary earth is full of highs and lows. But in Christ, we are given a mountain-top experience that lasts for all eternity. In His Church—our Mt. Zion—we receive the greatest gifts: forgiveness, peace, life, and salvation through Jesus Christ.
