Across New Jersey and the nation, the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 is now at its lowest point in months, case rates are declining and shots in arms are steadily rising. The calls are growing louder to continue reopening the state. Friday, officials announced 698 new, positive cases and 17 new deaths. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 885,291 cases in the state and 26,070 confirmed and probable deaths. Editor's note: A segment in this broadcast has been edited.
