Advent 1 - James Bay United Church Sunday Service November 28, 2021

This Sunday marks the beginning of ADVENT … this season that announces something new is on its way. It’s the season that summons us to be alert, to WATCH! Watch closely enough, patiently enough to see amidst a suffering world the arrival of goodness, and to ground our hope in its grace. We begin this Sunday, lighting the first of our Advent candles. We’ll celebrate communion also, that we might taste and see the hope-filled presence of God.
