LONG WAIT | Police or Dosre Ahalkaar Court Ky Bahir Kis Halat Ma Hain?

On Friday, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted protective bail to Imran Khan, the chief of the PTI, in all cases filed against him across the country. The bail is for two days in cases lodged in Islamabad and 10 days in cases lodged in Lahore. The two-member bench that granted the bail was composed of Justice Tariq Mehmood Jehangiri and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir. This is not the first time that the IHC has granted relief to Mr. Khan. Previously, the court had ordered security forces to refrain from arresting him in any case lodged after May 9 until May 17 and to halt proceedings in the Toshakhana case, in which the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had filed charges against Mr. Khan for allegedly concealing gifts. Television footage showed a large crowd of people and lawyers gathered outside the court. One of the cases in which Mr. Khan sought protective bail was the murder of Ali Bilal, also known as Zille Shah. Mr. Shah was allegedly murdered during PTI protests in Lahore, and the Punjab police had named Mr. Khan as a suspect in his murder case. However, the PTI claimed that Mr. Shah had been killed by the police. Mr. Khan sought protective bail in four cases, including the murder of Zille Shah. Despite the court's orders prohibiting law enforcement agencies from arresting Mr. Khan, reports suggest that they were still present outside the court, raising concerns that he may be arrested again. #imrankhan #pti Welcome to the official channel of Dunya News.
