By popular request, Jaby and Michael watch Deliver Us From Eva for the very first time! A controlling and headstrong woman meets her match when her sisters' frustrated partners hire a charming player to romance and distract her, only for real feelings to develop. Deliver Us From Eva was directed by Gary Hardwick (The Brothers, Trippin', Universal Remote). The main cast includes Gabrielle Union (Bring It On, Being Mary Jane, Bad Boys II) as Eva Dandridge, a sharp-tongued perfectionist whose interference in her sisters' relationships prompts their partners to take drastic action. LL Cool J (Deep Blue Sea, NCIS: Los Angeles, Any Given Sunday) plays Ray Adams, the smooth-talking ladies' man hired to seduce Eva but who unexpectedly falls for her. Essence Atkins (Smart Guy, Half & Half, A Haunted House) portrays Kareenah Dandridge, one of Eva’s sisters. Robinne Lee (Hitch, Seven Pounds, Fifty Shades Darker) plays Bethany Dandridge, another of Eva's strong-willed sisters. Meagan Good (Think Like a Man, Shazam!, Stomp the Yard) stars as Jacqui Dandridge, the youngest sister. Mel Jackson (Soul Food, The Temptations, In the House) plays Timothy, Kareenah’s frustrated boyfriend, while Dartanyan Edmonds (The Breaks, Woo, Trippin’) and Duane Martin (White Men Can’t Jump, All of Us, Above the Rim) round out the trio of desperate men looking to regain control of their relationships. The film blends comedy, romance, and sharp dialogue, delivering a modern spin on Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew.
