JEFF LYNNE'S ELO Encore MR BLUE SKY Closes OVER AND OUT Concert at State Farm Arena Atlanta 10/12/24

For their encore, Jeff Lynne's ELO in their Over and Out Tour concert performed Mr. Blue Sky, which due to a user error by yours truly was mostly truncated with the middle of the song not recorded (alas), at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on October 12, 2024. Mr. Blue Sky was written by Jeff Lynne and was the 16th track (and fourth and final track on the "Concerto for a Rainy Day" suite on side 3 of the original dougle album) and second single from Out of the Blue, ELO's seventh studio album, released in October 1977. Promotional copies were released on blue vinyl, like the album from which the single was issued. Due to Mr. Blue Sky's popularity, and frequent use in multiple television shows and movies, it has often been described as the band's signature song, and is the title of of their Best of album released in October 2012. Despite the abbreviation of the encore video, we hope our viewers agree it was a fantastic concert, an incredible performance by all the members of Jeff Lynne's ELO and a wonderful goodbye to a fabulous band!!
