Atypical nevi Part 1 Neonatal nevi and nevus of specal sites Phillip H McKee

This is the first of a series of videos for Residents and Fellows in which I discuss the histopathological features of a variety of so-called "atypical: melanocytic nevi. Dysplastic nevus will be a topic of a video in it's own right. In this presentation, I touch on basic features of melanocytic nevi in general and then focus in on neonatal nevi and "atypical" genital nevus and more broadly, nevus of special site. The importance of clinical information and clinicopathological correlation is emphasized.
