Vincent (Starry Starry Night) by Don McLean (Harp Cover 432hz) + Sheet Music
This is a song written by Don McLean as a tribute to the artist Vincent Van Gogh. The lyrics are so beautiful and really reflects the spirit of Van Gogh as a person and an artist. I was greatly touched by his life story after watching the movie "Loving Vincent" and reading the book "Vincent and Theo" which depicts the close relationship he had with his brother. Most people know of Van Gogh as a passionate and unconventional artist. But I found out that he was actually a very loving and giving person filled with compassion for the weak and feeble. Unfortunately his eccentricity and unrelenting ideals lead him to be largely misunderstood and misjudged by the conventions of his days. I am glad that the movie dug deeper and offers a more in-depth perspective on who Vincent was and what happened to him. I highly recommend watching the movie. The story is inspiring and the artistry is out of this world. I decided to end the song with the lyrics: This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you. Vincent was a beautiful soul that departed the world too soon. But his brilliance will continue to shine throughout the ages to come. Thank you Vincent for your gift to the world🙏!
