Bargain Porsche Cayenne 958 Exhaust Tips | Best Budget Quad Exhaust Finishers Installation | 01 In this video, I install a set of Ali Express Cayenne 958 exhaust finishers to my 2013 Porsche SUV. Here are the exact tips I fitted: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DFq... New exhaust clamps: https://ebay.us/i17RqU For a V6 Cayenne you will need the long tube version, for a V8 the short tube. But make sure to stick your head under the car and take a look to confirm, there are some reports of variance. I would strongly recommend replacing the exhaust finisher clamps when you do this upgrade, it's the only thing securing these heavier tips on, and as you can see from the footage, the original ones might be well past their best at this point. Firstly I vaguely introduced my newly acquired Porsche Cayenne 958.1 3.0 V6 Diesel which I'm so far really pleased with. It's a well-specced car in Jet Black with the Sport Design bodywork, air suspension, panoramic roof and 21" wheels. The condition for a 130k mile 10-year-old SUV is excellent also. There are however a few things letting the car down, the main thing which I dislike are the corroded oval exhaust tips that came on these MK2 Cayennes. I was considering removing them to give them a sand and a paint, but that lead me to notice that one of the exhaust tip clamps was on its last legs and hanging on by a thread, certainly in need of replacement and just waiting for its moment to let go. Shopping for new exhaust clamps lead me down a rabbit hole looking at replacement exhaust finishers to fit the Porsche Cayenne, it seems parts for Porsches are very expensive, especially OE parts. I'd all but given up on the idea when I noticed on the Facebook groups people speaking positively about Porsche Cayenne parts purchased cheaply on Ali Express. Although sceptical, I saw some pictures of cars with he tips fitted, and at the bargain price these tips are listed for on Ali Express I ended up pulling the trigger and purchasing them. There were two concerns I had, firstly some people had suggested these cheaper exhaust tips would not be stainless steel. As the whole system on the Cayenne is lovely and stainless, that would have been very bad news. But the magnet test confirmed to me that they are fully stainless steel. People also suggested the fitment might not be up to scratch, but we also disproved that by fitting them. removing the original exhaust tips was a bit tough thanks to corrosion of the clamps, be aware you may ruin your clamps by trying to remove them, so pick replacements up. With the aftermarket exhaust tips alongside the OE Porsche exhaust finishers on the bench, I noticed my first drawback, the new tips are easily 3x heavier than the original ones. As the clamp is the only think holding them in place, my concern would be that they might sag over time. I added a couple of stainless steel check straps to make sure if they do drop, they won't reach the floor if they do drop. However, having completed a ~1200 mile road trip in the car soon after fitting, I can confirm that they have not moved at all. So far, I can highly recommend these Ali Express exhaust tips.
