BLACK ARROW - 50 Year Anniversary - Almost Historic
It's been 50 years since the first successful orbital flight of the British designed and built Black Arrow rocket. Ultimately it would prove its ability to launch satellites into low Earth Orbit but only after already being cancelled. The Propellent choice of High Test Peroxide and Kerosene is not one we see very often but it has some very interesting advantages over more conventional choices, and is making a comeback in British rockets such as those proposed by Skyora Lots of info on British rockets is available on Nicholas Hill's site: http://www.spaceuk.org/index.html @UK Space Agency @The British Interplanetary Society
