Paper Mario TTYD: FP Only Pre-Hooktail Pit Run

FP Only Pre-Hooktail Pit of 100 Trials is a challenge where you attempt to beat Bonetail before Hooktail, only upgrading FP and without equipping HP Plus. This is my fourth time clearing the crystal-tier challenge in TTYD, and I cleared all stat only variants of Pre-Hooktail Pit! I matched Amazydayzee3621's stat only early pit completions except for normal HP Only PHP, which I did without MRP and HRG instead of normal. This run was done on a Pre-Hooktail Pit preparation save file with BP upgraded in first place, so practice codes/Chet Rippo was used to change stats from BP to FP to ensure that FP Only PHP can be attempted. Alternatively, if you upgraded BP first, you can keep FP Plus equipped at all times in the entire pit run. The main strategy for this run is you use Mega Rush P often for later floors. It's best for Koops to be in Peril at most of times. If you are encountering a difficult loadout such as 3 Dark Koopatrols and have trouble with Mega Rush P, you can use Fire Drive and Shell Shield strategy instead if Koops has full health instead of 1 HP. I used Last Stand and Mega Rush P strat on the bonetail battle similar to L1 PHP runs for easy way. This strategy should be useful as long as the audience is not Dull Bones, Dayzees, Shy Guys, or Bulky Bob-ombs. If Goombella is not upgraded or if you are running L1 PHP and MRP strat is used, it takes twice as long as normal Bonetail Battle with MRP strat. If going for Fire Drive & Shell Shield strat, you still have to superguard and use sweet treats to replenish more FP, and as well as flower bingos. I completed the run with six life shrooms left, which is more than previous three crystal-tier challenges I've completed. I lost one at floors 74 and 76, then two at floor 81, and I got the Tornado Jump badge drop from Dark Lakitus at floor 61. Next early pit run to attempt is the 10 HP NJNHDD Pre-Chapter 2 Pit, which will be my next and fifth crystal-tier challenge to complete.
