Flea style jam.

I got a request to go full Flea in a video and decided it would be a great challenge. obviously Flea is one of if not the most iconic bassist in the world and has an incredible legacy so I am by no means saying that I play like him in this video. What I tries to do was take some of my favorite parts of his style and use that to come up with an interesting bass line. The first thing that stands out for me about Flea is his almost punk attitude to play slap bass, it's fast, frantic and in your face which is super cool. Think songs like "Black Eyed Blonde". The second thing is the immense groove that he posses, something a put front and center when I play bass, something that jumps to mind for this is " Dark Necessities". The last ingredient to this jam is Fleas ferocious finger work like the intro to "Around the world". Throw all of that together with a drum groove and this is what I came up with.
