How to Remove a Tick from Your Pet | MedVet
If you find a tick on your pet, you’ll want to remove it as soon as possible. To remove, firmly grasp the head of the tick (and not the body) with fine-point tweezers. By gently pulling, you should be able to dislodge the tick. After removal, drop the tick in rubbing alcohol and then disinfect the bite site. If you can, save the tick in a container with a lid so your veterinarian can examine it should your pet become sick. Monitor your pet and contact your veterinarian if you see any signs of illness. 🐾Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more informative content on pet health!
