Growing Mushrooms in Wood Chips | Intense Summer Drought | Fall Garden Cleanup
Fall is almost here, and the garden is done for the season. I'm harvesting what's left and beginning to prepare for winter. I turn one of my garden beds into a wine cap mushroom patch, and add a new raised bed. I had an amazing sweet potato harvest from one of the raised beds I added last year. With Autumn Equinox around the corner, I'm clearing out the old to make space for the new, and honoring the transformational time between growth and decay. ::: PATREON / nakedgardener ::: NAKED HERBAL TEA BLENDS https://www.thenakedgardener.us/store Aside from a few raised garden beds in the past, I have never done anything like this before on this scale. I'm learning as I go along, but am sharing my love and enthusiasm for deeply connecting with nature, growing my own food, and living more sustainably. I garden the NAKED way. I don't use any herbicides, pesticides, or chemicals, and that carries through in every other aspect of my life as well - from the type of products I use, the food I eat, and the environment I keep. I also soak up the sun and let the earth touch my skin as often as possible ;) Thank you for watching!
