🌟 Paratha - 2 ways Coin Aloo Paratha –Variation 1 Ingredients For the Dough: β€’ Whole wheat flour – 1 cup β€’ Salt – a pinch β€’ Water – as needed (to knead) β€’ Oil – 1 tbsp For the Aloo Filling: β€’ Boiled & mashed potatoes – 2 medium β€’ Green chilly (finely chopped) – 1 tsp β€’ Lemon juice – 1 tsp β€’ Turmeric powder – ΒΌ tsp β€’ Kashmiri red chili powder – 1Β½ tsp β€’ Coriander powder – 1 tsp β€’ Cumin (jeera) powder – Β½ tsp β€’ Garam masala – Β½ tsp β€’ Salt – to taste Steps 1. Make Dough: Mix flour, salt, and water. Knead to a soft dough. Add oil, knead again, and rest for 20 mins. 2. Make Filling: Mix all filling ingredients with mashed potatoes. 3. Shape Coins: Roll out dough into a thin sheet. Add potato filling in a line, roll it into a log. Cut into small pieces and gently flatten them. 4. Cook: Toast each coin on a pan with a little oil till golden and crisp on both sides. Smashed Aloo Tacos- Variation 2 Use same dough and potato filling as above Steps 1. Roll dough into a thin roti. 2. Spread a thin layer of potato filling on top. 3. Place filling-side down on a hot pan with a little oil. Cook till golden and crisp. 4.
