AFROCENTRICITY MOLEFI ASANTE AT SUNO 1993 mp4 0 1

DR. MOLEFI ASANTE AT SUNO 1993--Dr. Charles Frye, Director of SUNO Center for African and African American Studies (CAAAS) presents the Founder of the Afrocentric Movement, discussing his work, " Afrocentricity." Dr. Asante explains that the current paradigm of "History" has been dominated by a "Eurocentric" revision of timelines that bypass thousands of years of cultural development from Africa and Asia and places the beginning of civilization with the Greeks. This revisionism has been a powerful tool of racism and the myriad manifestations of white supremacy dating back to slavery and colonialism.
