Abby and Lev are back in the infected hallway, slowly thinning out the herd before confronting the bloater. With the help of a crossbow, some evasive maneuvering, and a flamethrower, they manage to take down the bloater and proceed to resupplying and traversing further down the building. But when they reach the hospital, they are met with WLF patrols, and Abby must enter the hospital through the front door without causing alarm. However, her cover is blown, and she is captured by the patrol, but Nora helps her escape and sends her into the deeply infected part of the hospital, Ground Zero.
