Werner Herzog Q&A: Cave of Forgotten Dreams
Werner Herzog discusses his 3-D documentary film "Cave of Forgotten Dreams" and the idea of "descending into the unknown." He shot it in 3D because the cave paintings use three-dimensional elements like jutting rocks to convey movement. They were allowed very limited access to film in the cave to preserve the archeological site. There are footprints of a boy next to footprints of a wolf. Shot and edited by Viva Videography.
