The Dark History of Japan: The Untouchables

The Dark History of Japan: The Untouchables

Looking at Japan from the outside you will see what to many looks like a dream land, but if you look closer you will see millions of people genetically identical to the rest of the population who are discriminated against to this day. Point missed in the video: Burakumin on average have higher drop-out rates and lower educational attainment than the average Japanese person. Sadly, my files got corrupted, leaving me unable to do final adjustments so I hope you will excuse the minor blips, such as the bookmark bar showing. Any feedback is greatly appreciated and since I wasn't able to say it in the final edit, subscribe if you enjoyed the video and want to see more like it. Thank you so much for watching the video, I genuinely appreciate it. 0:00 Intro 0:46 Eta 2:00 Edo period 3:19 Meiji period - 2002 5:37 Today Social media: Instagram:   / allthingsjapan_yt   Follow me for gaming and fun on Twitch:   / gransgaardian   Most Video Sources: BBC, 2015, https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-3...
