EASY ALMOND COOKIES IN 30 MINUTES These Meringue Shell Cookies are crunchy, light and sweet, like little pillows of deliciousness that pop in your mouth quickly becoming your new favorite dessert. They are the perfect addition to your Easter Recipe to do list! Feel free to look over my other videos, if you like them subscribe to my channel and support me ❤️ Ingredients: 1 cup softened butter-220 g 1/2 cup yogurt -120 g 3 egg yolks 2 1/2 cups sifted flour 2 egg whites 1/8 tsp salt 3/4 cup sugar-150 g almonds or walnuts Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 °F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. In the bowl combine butter, egg yolks and yogurt. 3. Add flour and knead just until dough is no longer sticky (around 2 minutes). 4. In a another bowl, whish 2 room temperature egg whites and salt for 1 minute until thick and foamy. Add sugar and whisk for 5 minutes until meringue forms stiff peaks. 5. Transfer dough to a well-floured surface. Divide the cookie dough into 2 pieces. 6. Roll out into a 17x12 inch (44 x 30 cm) rectangle. 7. Using a glass cut 3 inches/7 cm pieces. 8. Place 1 tsp of meringue into the center of each circle. Fold the dough in half, and half again to form a petal. Pinch the ends tightly. Put an almond/walnuts into the center of cookies. 9.Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes until edges are golden brown. 10.Cool them to room temp before dusting with powdered sugar. #cookies#biscuits#fursecuri
