Leaving money for my kids dilemma

I want to leave some of my money to my kids down the road but most (if not all) who had wealthy parents didn’t turn out that great. Usually not motivated, lazy and not ambitious at all. Should I or shouldn’t I knowing all this. If I should, what is the best way to do it.
