How to heal Histamine Intolerance (part 1)

In this video, I'm sharing why histamine intolerance occurs and what you can do to heal it. Why does the body release histamine? It is primarily an immune response to a perceived invader. When the gut is imbalanced and has holes in the lining we call that a leaky gut. A leaky gut allows undigested food proteins to leak out of the intestines and into the blood stream where they should not be. In this case the body sees it as an allergen and releases histamine as a response. To stop this release of histamine it is essential to heal the gut lining with a modified version of the GAPS introduction diet which I explain in part 2.
