Acclamations (on 'Christus Vincit') from Langlais' 'Suite Médiévale'

22 November 2020: the feast of St Cecilia, but also (this year) the feast of Christ the King. Our Director of Music, Martin Stacey celebrated the 20th anniversary of his stewardship of our historic 1883 'Father' Willis organ with a short organ recital, the first to be livestreamed on this YouTube channel. This piece, Acclamations, by Langlais, from Le Suite Médiévale is based on the chant 'Christus Vincit' the so called Praises of the King which are often sung on this feast day.
