Part 1 - The Search for Clank Starts. Ladies and gents, it's time to start off a new LP and this time, it's time to continue where "Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction" left off. Ratchet & Talwyn Apogee both infiltrate a Space Pirate ship in Planet Merdegraw and are about to go on a stealth mission until Rusty Pete with a decapitated Slag both blow their cover and with stealth out of the question, both Ratchet and Talwyn fight their way through the pirate fleet, only to find themselves banished from a cannon to Hoolefar Island. After Ratchet regains conscience, he sees Clank briefly before he flies off. Ratchet & Talwyn explore the island until they find the island's village in which the mayor welcomes them and explains that the supply beacon has been sabotaged by the pirates, but Ratchet volunteers to fix the Wind Turbines in order to getting the beacon back up and running again. The quest continues in part 2. After Clank's disappearance in the previous game, the Future Saga continues in Planet Merdegraw to find the mysterious Captain Blackstar who died years ago and to find out where the Zoni took off with Clank.
