Gakwonsa Temple (각원사)
Gakwonsa Temple (각원사) is a Buddhist temple located on the east side of Cheonan The biggest attraction at this temple is the 15m (49 2ft) tall bronze Buddha It is a statue of Amita-bul (The Buddha of the Western Paradise) This is an active temple with many beautiful building on the grounds Some of the buildings are for worship while others are for the monks who live there The temple is nestled at the base of several mountains The paths are well used so the are easy to follow The path to the top of Taejosan (태조산) was easy for the most part The view at the top was not the best There was a pavilion at the top that is used as a resting spot once at the top
