Surah Yasin, Surah Al-Waqi'ah, Surah Ar-Rahman, and Al-Mulk for sustenance and a speedy recovery, God willing | Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais's sweet and heart-soothing recitation of Surah Yasin, Al-Waqi'ah, Ar-Rahman, and Al-Mulk for increased sustenance and blessings. Surah Yasin is one of the chapters of the Holy Quran, the Book of God and His final message to humankind, revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) through the angel Gabriel (peace be upon him). It has been transmitted to us through continuous, reliable chains of narration and is the Prophet's enduring miracle until the Day of Judgment. It is the Book in which falsehood cannot enter, neither from before it nor from behind it, a revelation from the All-Wise, the Praiseworthy. This eternal Book is the constitution of Muslims, a guidance and light for those who seek it, and a bearer of glad tidings and a warner to humanity on the Day when neither wealth nor children will avail, except for those who come to God with a sound heart. It is a healing and a mercy for the believers, as God Almighty says: “And We send down of the Quran that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss.” In this article, we will explain the virtue of Surah Yasin for fulfilling needs. God has made this noble chapter one of the healing chapters sufficient for those who recite it. The virtues of Surah Ar-Rahman: There are authentic, good, and weak hadiths regarding the virtues of some surahs in the Holy Quran. Among these surahs are Surah Al-Baqarah and Surah Al Imran, as well as Surah Al-Kahf, Surah Al-Mulk, and Surah Al-Fatihah.[1] As for Surah Ar-Rahman, there are weak hadiths regarding its virtues that are not authentic. One of these hadiths is: “Everything has a bride, and the bride of the Quran is Surah Ar-Rahman.” All the hadiths narrated regarding the virtues of this surah have weak chains of transmission, as verified by the scholar Al-Albani.[2] There is an authentic hadith in the Sunnah that mentions this surah, in which it is narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited Surah Ar-Rahman to his companions, and they remained silent. He said, “Why do I hear the jinn responding better to their Lord than you? Whenever I reach the verse, ‘Then which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?’ they say, ‘None of Your favors, our Lord!’” We deny it, so praise be to You. [3][4]
