74-year-old woman fatally struck in Queens is 1st pedestrian death of 2020
A 74-year-old woman died Wednesday after being struck by a car as she crossed Northern Boulevard in Flushing, Queens. The pedestrian death comes on the very first day of the year. Police say it happened just before 6 p.m. The woman, identified by police as Ok Kang, was rushed to a nearby hospital, but her injuries were too severe to overcome. The driver remained on scene.
