Today's Homily: Ember Saturday in Lent (2025)

On this Ember Saturday in Lent, with the station at St. Peter’s Basilica, Holy Mother Church calls us to purification and steadfast faith. The fiery trial of the three young men in Daniel symbolizes our need to resist the idols of the age, trusting that Christ walks with us in the furnace of suffering.
