In November, 2025, you could stop by the Jeannette Rankin Peace Center & Fair Trade Store to see our window display for the month of November— an ofrenda for Ethel MacDonald surrounded by 1,000 peace cranes made with love by our community. 🧡 A space for reflection, gratitude, and peace. "Join us at the Jeannette Rankin Peace Center on Sunday, November 9, from 1–4 PM to celebrate Ethel’s life and legacy. Learn the art of the peace crane, its meaning, and its message of hope and nonviolence. Free event, all are welcome! Teachers will be on hand to guide you. The cranes will be brought to Ethel’s Celebration of Life on November 16."
