Suspects in Oakley bank robbery in court

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Two suspects, charged in connection with a bank robbery in Oakley, appeared in court on September 29. Samantha Conover and Justin Evans are charged with robbery for the hold-up at the PNC bank on Paxton Avenue. Evans is also charged with receiving stolen property. Police say Conover went into the bank, handed the teller a note and demanded cash. According to the prosecutor's office, Conover threatened to harm the teller if she didn't get the money. Investigators say after she left the bank, she met Evans at a nearby McDonald's and gave him the ,300 stolen from the bank. Prosecutors also say she tried to change clothes to avoid detection. Police arrested both. They say they found the money in Evans' pants pocket. A judge ordered Conover held on 00,000 bond. He gave Evans a 25,000 bond for the robbery and receiving stolen property charges. Evans was also ordered held on another 0,000 bond for unrelated charges against him.
