Ayushman Bharat PMJAY To Launch From April 1st With Healthcare Benefits | Details
Starting from April 1st, 2025, the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) and the Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Scheme will be launched across Odisha, providing healthcare benefits to millions. This new initiative will include Ayushman Bhoyobandana Yojana for people above 70 years of age, offering up to ₹15 lakh for treatment. Over 3.52 crore citizens will benefit from these healthcare schemes. The schemes will cover more than 1 crore families in the state, including 67 lakh 80 thousand families under PMJAY and 35 lakh 84 thousand families under the Gopabandhu Scheme. Beneficiaries will receive health cards, with special provisions for senior citizens. This initiative aims to offer up to ₹5 lakh for treatment for male beneficiaries and ₹10 lakh for female beneficiaries.
