Zaid to file petition to declare by-election result null and void
PKR Hulu Selangor by-election supreme council member Datuk Zaid Ibrahim will file an election petition seeking to declare the result of the Hulu Selangor by-election last Sunday as null and void. Zaid, who was defeated by a 1,725-vote majority in the by-election, says he has evidence to prove that Barisan Nasional was involved in blatant bribery.
