How to unlock NPC characters in Mario Kart World! (READ DESC.)

(Assuming you're hosting the room) NOTE: Players controlling a UFO can transform into the character you're playing as, they don't need to take the hazard versions of the NPC characters! 1. Open the room and give the code to players you want to join 2. Tell them to make sure "Dash food transformations" are ON! If it's off it won't work. 3. Press Y to open the free roam map menu, and click on Peach Beach. 4. Drive over to the underside of Peach Beach shown here, where a guaranteed UFO will spawn. 5. Choose the character you want the other player to transform into 6. Have the other player take the UFO, and tell them to press R to use the tractor beam to suck you up. NOTE: The transformation will change characters based on the LAST player they suck up. Be careful! 7.
