Stories of Hope | Childhood Pneumonia in Kenya

Childhood Pneumonia is the world's leading infectious killer of children under 5 years, yet forgotten. In Kenya alone, Pneumonia contributes up to 15% of child mortality cases. Some of the factors contributing to increased cases of childhood pneumonia are poverty and lack of parental knowledge on the importance of breastfeeding and immunization as shields to this killer disease. Save the Children continues to partner with the Ministry of Health to scale up interventions in the fight to #StopPneumonia in children.
