The Word saying “the just shall live by faith” is not a command but a promise. Faith is our response to what God has done for us in Christ. We received our salvation not by our works but by faith in what Jesus has already done for us to make us righteous by His blood. By having faith, we respond to God’s richness and readiness to bless us, and He will supply all our needs and solutions regardless of the circumstances.
