In our Samoan culture, God is supposed to be first in everything that we do! But we don't see ourselves perfect, because we "all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,” Romans‬ ‭3:23-24. We all make mistakes, and are tried & tempted daily by the enemy to sin, & sadly many of us fall because we do not completely understand the word of God! We dont truly seek our part's to do, to complete the kingdom of God within this world that we currently live in! So we tend to keep finding ourselves falling into sin, because we don't notice & don't want to admit, that we ourselves are the problem! We have so much pride within ourselves! We do not admit that the pride we hide within causes us to desire the things of this world, instead of seeking what desires the father in heaven, our Messaiah Yeshua HaMasiach! So this is one of the reason's why a renewal service is done! As the word of Yeshua say's; “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." Romans 12:1-2 NKJV Therefore we must be transforming our minds daily, by truthfully seeking Yeshua, & having a true daily relationship with him! We need to truly look & dig within ourselves & ask, are we truly doing the will of Yeshua today as a Christian, or are we just doing what our evil hearts desire? We must always remember, that our hearts are deceptive as the scriptures say! So don't follow what our hearts say & feel, but seek & follow what The Holy Spirit of Yeshua say's, & learn to descern the true voice of Yeshua's Holy Spirit! "The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9 So we must always renew our relationship daily with our Messaiah by daily repentance & confession, because we always do thing's and sometimes not even notice when we are sinning! May he open up your spiritual ears & eyes to hear and see what the Almighty wants us to do in the time that we have remaining here on earth, In Jesus' name!
