Witness changes in perception for Korean contemporary dance through moves that swim between standardized rows A historic first collaboration between the contemporary dance field's virtuosa, Ahn Ae-soon, an explorer of dance through Korea's inherent identity, and the National Dance Company of Korea, which throws contemporary questions towards Korean dance. The new work 'Haeng +-' (Haeng Plus Minus) pioneers a new realm of Korean dance by adding contemporary or personal elements to the great and deep roots that is tradition. Something to observe in this performance is the diverse, limit-crossing movement of the nearly 40 dancers of the National Dance Company of Korea. By persistently asking and searching for what Korean-style contemporary is through the boundaries of traditional and modern, unforeseen new movements will be captured and showcased in this work.
