Instead, alternative versions of themselves—Bad Steve and Good Villager—jump out of the portal. They are doppelgangers from a parallel universe. Bad Steve walks down the street and meets a toy seller named Sprunki. Bad Steve does a bad thing: he destroys Sprunki’s shop and moves on. Good Baby Villager sees a toy seller who needs to sell toys to feed his family. Baby Villager takes out some money and buys one toy. The seller is happy. Further along the way, the boys see Baby Alex, who is celebrating her birthday with a big, delicious cake. Bad Steve does a bad thing again: he grabs Baby Alex and smears the cake all over her face. Baby Alex is very angry with Bad Steve. Good Baby Villager does a good thing: he gives Baby Alex a nice toy named Sprunki. She is happy and grateful to him for his good deed. On the way, a beggar appears to the boys and asks Bad Steve for alms. Bad Steve sees a gold nugget with the beggar. He commits a bad deed by stealing the gold nugget from the homeless man. Good Baby Villager sees the homeless man and immediately gives him a gold nugget. The homeless man is happy and thanks Baby Villager for his good deed. Suddenly, a portal opens in front of the boys, and the original Baby Steve and Bad Villager jump out of the portal. Immediately behind them, the tentacles of an alien appear from the portal. The alien strives to take Bad Steve and Good Villager back to their home. The boys fight off the monstrous tentacles, and the doppelgangers jump back into the portal. Everything is back to normal.
